Our signature blend of 15-grains is the perfect base to any poke combo you can think up. Our executive chef, Jin Soo Yang, created the Medicine Rice concept based on his childhood. He grew up eating mixed grain rice instead of plain white rice with every meal. We’ve noticed brown rice gaining popularity in sushi restaurants and poke shops so Jin Soo sought to recreate what he had growing up to offer something totally unique and full of flavor. What he created is a perfect mix of black rice, buckwheat, foxtail millet, amaranth, and a slew of other “super grains” that leave you feeling healthy, full and energized. We call it Medicine Rice for a reason – it’s good for you and the perfect fuel for a quick lunch, after a workout or a balanced dinner.
